Little Birds

Waves are so changing and expressive in their ebb, flow and constant movement. Sanderlings are shorebirds that move together in graceful, undulating, synchronized flight, reminding me of the waves’ liquid motion.

Boston Museum of Science.  Lawrence J. Ralph, Director of Exhibits: "Your mural looks fantastic. I took a look at it yesterday and I agree it adds tremendous depth to the room. It made me want to step up to the water tank area and just keep walking down a path into the woods along a stream. I love the mural."

New England Aquarium.  Steven L. Bailey, Curator of Fishes: "The renderings done by Amy are instrumental in tying the exhibit specimens to the education and conservation messages New Egland Aquarium hopes to convey. I have found Amy to be knowledgeable, detail-oriented and mindful of deadlines. She's professional and enjoyable to work with."

Buttonwood Park ZooDavid A. Raboy, Director: "Amy played a critical role in the design process as well as artistic execution. She quickly became a valued team player and this approach carried through the entire creative process. She possesses an unusually fine talent for color, perspective, detail and sense of depth that combine to provide strikingly beautiful murals."

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.  Pamela Hess, Outdoor Recreation Planner: "Amy has brought an otherwise stagnant room to life. The compliments from staff and visitors has been nothing but glowing. Her attention to detail has helped to bring movement to the wall. I have no doubt Ms. Wright's work will continue to surpass our expections as she adds wildlife to the painting."
